Vogue launched in 1998 and is credited with helping Russian women become more style conscious and informed. It is recognised as Russia's leading monthly fashion magazine and is highly regarded by the industry for its original commissioned content. Over the eighteen years, the best of the best worked with the Russian Vogue: photographers Helmut Newton, Peter Lindbergh, Steven Meisel, Patrick Demarchelier, Mario Testino; models Linda Evangelista, Naomi Campbell, Claudia Schiffer, Natalia Vodianova; interviewees Renata Litvinova, Diana Vishneva and Chulpan Khamatova. Since 2008 in Moscow and 2012 in St. Petersburg, Vogue has held Fashion’s Night Out, an annual festival of fashion and shopping, when Vogue readers can enjoy gifts and surprises, meet with their favorite designers, models and stylists in the best boutiques and department stores.
The event traditionally kicks off the fashion and celebrity season in early September. For just one night, shopping malls and stores open their doors to fashionistas with numerous tempting offers, from discounts to original outfits and accessories created specifically for the event. Guests will have a chance to meet Vogue editors and designers of their favorite brands, and to chat with stylists and celebrities over a glass of champagne. Vogue Fashion’s Night Out is traditionally presented by the magazine’s editorial team and an official ambassador. Natalia Vodianova, Natasha Poly and Maryna Linchuk are among the ambassadors of the previous years.
